I’m Elly, a freelance journalist, podcaster and founder of Nomad Voices, an online magazine and newsletter about the digital nomad movement.

I divide my work time between the three roles, writing features for magazine clients about hospitality, travel and digital nomadism, podcasting about the weird and wonderful world of dating as a digital nomad, and creating and curating content for Nomad Voices.

If it’s not obvious yet, I’ve been a digital nomad myself for the last decade, living and working from destinations including – but not limited to – Bali, Thailand, Ibiza, Sri Lanka, New Zealand and most recently Portugal, which is where I’m currently based.

You can find my writing in Stylist, Fast Company, BBC Travel, The Caterer, Sleeper Magazine and many other publications. And when I’m not tapping away at my laptop, you’ll probably find me practising my guitar, absorbed in my Kindle or planning my next adventure.

If you’d like to hire me as a journalist, you can email me here. Or if you’re interested in picking my brain about digital nomad life, I also offer consulting here.
